As the Somfy motor comes fitted with a battery, approximately twenty movements are still possible.
Our motors use standard RTS radio technology and can therefore be controlled together with RTS roller shutters or any other product using this protocol. They can also be controlled via a Tahoma home automation box.
We have designed our products with our constraints in mind to make our motors particularly discreet.
The Yslo motor is generally installed under the lintel and requires only 6cm in height, which is generally the height of the window frame. Thus daylight is not decreased by the addition of the motor.
Yes, of course. Our custom motorisation can be adapted to this type of configuration following a feasibility study.
Yes of course, most of swing shutters of the market can be motorised by Somfy regardless of the material, type and dimensions.
Somfy motorisations are compatible with the vast majority of swing, solid or louvre shutters. Whether it is a new-build or a renovation project, Somfy will find a solution adapted to your needs for each shutter (even existing) and for each material (wood, aluminium, PVC or resin)!
More commonly 1-panel or 2-panel swing shutters, but connected panels too (3 and 4 panels) can be motorised through our tailor-made offer.
The points to check before selecting a motorised system: 1. Number, size and weight of each shutter. 2. Position of the shutter hinges. 3. The space available to install the motor, i.e. space between the window and the closed shutters and width of the window. 4. What type of installation do you want for the motor? Under the window lintel, intermediate (on a balustrade, for example, or on the window sill (in the case of an arched window)? 5. What colour do you want for the motor housing? Several colours are available to match your shutters or joinery. 6. Is there a power supply near the windows in question?
