In addition to the fact that a sliding gate saves you a lot of space compared to a swinging model, motorised sliding gates will make your life easier thanks to our Somfy opening and closing system. Our electric sliding gate ranges are equipped with a self-supporting or guided rack and pinion motorisation.

With a sliding gate motor, you can control the opening and closing of your gate automatically, effortlessly and remotely.
If you already have a gate that you wish to motorise, it is important to check that the gate is in good mechanical condition, correctly balanced and that it closes and opens properly with a force of less than 150 N.

Our different types of sliding gates motors

Are you wondering which motor is used in sliding gate? Read our guide.

Integrated sliding gate motor

The motor integrated into the sliding gate's guidepost is invisible and thus preserves the aesthetics of your gate. It is compatible with all types of gates (track, cantilever, telescopic).

This type of motorisation is integrated into a new gate and therefore cannot be sold separately.

The Somfy Roly Smart io motor is, for example, an integrated motor.
